Editing is coming along great for book 6. The second half of the book is heading to the editor on Monday. I should be getting it back at the end of the week. Hopefully, I'll have the Patreon copy up for you guys to download early in the last week of the month. I'm waiting on cover art, so if that is the only thing that delays things, then I might do something so that you don't have to wait.
Publishing will probably be early February.
Heaven's Laws - Prodigies
Still working on a synopsis.
As you guys can tell, I've chosen to go with Heaven's Laws as the series title. It was overwhelmingly chosen, and even though there were some good additional titles added in the comments, there seemed to be a lot of people committed to this one.
As for the first book's title, Prodigies fits well and indicates that both Chao and Huifen will both continue to be Main Characters. I'm not a fan of how most cultivation novels tend to forget, or move on to knew romances with each new world/realm. It's lazy storytelling in most cases. I understand it from a wish fulfillment perspective, but I'm more interested in having two fully realized characters.
We are 85,000 words into book one and between a third to half done with it. Meaning book one is going to be thick. It might end up being my first 200,000 word book. World Quest was 185,000 and Scorching Sun is 160,000 for perspective.
Because of how long lived people are in cultivation novels, in general, I don't want to always force action into a really short period of time. Then you end up with characters at the Apex in a couple years, or less. I also don't want to force characters apart just to explore neat new ideas.

No, I have not forgot about it. I have to go back and completely read the first three books and I want to do it while not having to edit another series at the same time. Not only can characters voices get mixed up, but they both are written with a different storytelling flow. Once the editing is done, this should get rolling!

I like what your thinking on heavens law. Those tropes are so annoying now im glad your not gonna split them apart just cause, and personally love your romance in your books so seeing this one be a bit more romance focused is gonna be interesting~. Still interested in seeing how Chao becomes more cultivator like in terms of fighting!
