Update!

Codename: Freedom

The editing for Codename: Freedom is well underway. This coming Monday, 12th, I'll be handing it off to my editor. There's been a number of updates.

-Clarity of Lucius's motivations during his visit with the pkers. 

-Jerrek, Olivia, and Isamu were added to the final battle. 

-The future of the pkers was added to the last chapter.

-Clarity of motivation is being added to the debate.

-Clarified how the Psionic Recovery Rate scales. 

These are just some of the big things. Nothing has  changed with the story. My beta readers are making sure any odd sounding things are getting cleaned up as well.

Publishing

I still don't have an official date. I'm hoping to have it by the 23rd, but if there are any delays, then the 27th or 28th at the latest. Getting it done before DragonCon still seems likely. 

Still waiting on cover art. I'll probably get it back the week of the 19th. That's also when I should receive the edits back.

Underworld

I'm going to begin chapters probably next week. It will start off slow, probably one chapter a week, but this coming month we should have close to one chapter a month. I hope to have the writing finished in October. 

So, November for the next book?

Trying Something New

During the writing of Underworld, I'm going to try to continue writing Codename: Freedom on the side. I've always only done one book at a time, but I'm going to try it this time around. So Underworld will take up most of my writing time, 5-6 hours a day. Codename will take up 1-2. I'm hoping to be able to keep things fresh in my mind this way. There's so much I want to do with the Codename series. 

Future of a Series

I've been trying to figure out how to handle the future naming scheme for the Codename: Freedom series. I could call it by the next Codename, or call the next trilogy, the Freedom Generation. I could also continue calling it Codename: Freedom and just start referring to them as the Freedom Generation. Kind of like Sword Art Online keeps the name even though the future series really aren't in SAO anymore. I'm really leaning toward the last naming scheme just because it will be easier for readers to find.

DragonCon

It's getting closer! I'm trying to figure out how to get the most books in my luggage without it costing too much. :-)>
