Lily--a nineteen-year-old college student--wakes up inside of a strange space known as the Prison of Desire. She is shocked to find all her deepest and most personal fantasies materializing before her eyes. Will she come to terms with her feelings, or will she continue to deny her true self?

Forbidden Paradise is a top-down action RPG inspired by classic Metroid, Legend of Zelda, and Ys games. Punch your way through numerous enemies and traps that try to restrain Lily. As the player delves deeper into the prison, they will acquire new items and unlock new abilities.

If captured, you will get transported to a different area where Lily's powers are sealed! Players will have to solve puzzles and/or stealthily escape from their captors. Utilize a range of difficulty modes to solve them at your own comfort level. If you fail to escape, your one true ally will come to your aid. There are also no game overs, so you will always be able to progress the story without needlessly losing progress.

Several events in this game allow the player to make decisions that will affect how certain events and interactions unfold. The more willingly Lily embraces her desires, the spicier future scenarios can become. Many events can be replayed in a memory room to allow players to explore all potential variations.

Lily loves to design and wear outfits--ranging from fashionable to lewd. Since the prison is a materialization of her desires, players will come across a variety of equipable outfits, some of which grant unique abilities.
