Just a quick reminder, if you want these last tokens, make sure that you're supporting the appropriate membership through the 1st. July Poll and Announcement!

Hi everybody! Thank you so much for over a year of support. It's been an immense pleasure and joy to make these tokens just for y'all. But, regretfully, I'm going on an indefinite hiatus from Patreon. It's very sad for me, but unfortunately, it's just not growing how I hoped it would to be financially sustainable. I appreciate all the support, and hopefully if and when I come back to this, I'll get to create some things for you again!

It's not just finances that I considered, either. I've really scaled back my focus on making MTG tokens, and getting into some other projects and ideas. It probably won't surprise you that my first love is comics, and I'm heading myself back in that direction. And I'm very excited about it! If you wanna keep tabs on me for that, and for other MTG tokens and other work I will inevitably do, follow me on Instagram, @demondramon. I'm not the absolute best at keeping up there, but it's my only social media, and I'll damn well try to keep it active.

If you do feel like you want to continue to support me here, you're under no obligation, but I wouldn't say no. I do believe that Patreon has an option to just follow without pledging money, so if you just wanna watch this space for my comeback, that's also an option!

I've always wanted to do a token for Minn, but was never really sure what to make. She's riding a bear, with one of those little brain guys, and the official token is an owlbear. What could I do that's more fun than that? What's an ICONIC D&D monster?

It's a shame they never made a Beholder token in any of the D&D sets, because it turns out, I love drawing Beholders. Also, why are they not "Creature - Eye Horror?" I understand beholders are their own specific thing. But, like, so are displacer beasts, and they got the Cat typing. Oh well, my Eye tribal deck will have to wait.

Y'all just had to sneak in one more bug, didn't you? I love the whole card story of Delver, and that eventually he's like, "Hell yeah, everybody needs to be bugs." Docent of Perfection is one of those cards that I always try to slip into decks, but it just never works. And I refuse to go straight Wizard tribal. Too easy.

Ten bucks says Wizards eventually makes him a Legendary Creature.

Just checking in!

Hey, y'all! I wanted to just get a vibe check, see how everyone was feeling about how things are going. I've been having a lot of fun with these, especially when you make me create some tokens I otherwise wouldn't!

Now, obviously, you're mostly here for the tokens themselves, that's the whole point. But I'm curious how much everybody enjoys the process videos. Do you watch them? Do you like the change to a vertical format? Do you care at all? They're not the most time-consuming part of the process, but I am not a fan of video editing, so it feels tedious. And I wanna make sure that I'm not doing the work for nobody, or if there's something that would make you enjoy them more!

Whether or not you enjoy the videos, is there anything else that you'd like to see now or in the future? Or really any suggestions at all! I'm all ears.

I've been finding The Copper Host very fascinating with these last couple releases. Green Phyrexia always felt like it was just, like, nature is gross. But now it has a lot more of a machine meets nature look, and I'm down with it. So, this is definitely a reflection of that new art direction.

I genuinely thought there were more cards that made these tokens.

I dunno if y'all feel this way. I hate it when two cards make basically the same token, but one has haste, and instead of making two different tokens, one with haste, and one without, they just make them the same. I know haste generally isn't relevant after the first turn, and never used to be. But Gingerbrute would like a word, and so would my Akroma, Vision of Ixidor deck.

MOM Teasers!

Hey all! With the recent March of the Machine previews we got, I am hyped. Especially for the tag team cards. I know they have their detractors, but I am not at all one of them. I've already built a Goro-Goro and Satorou deck, and my partner is working on her Thalia and the Gitrog Monster deck. So, of course, I had to get a leg up on the tokens.

Now, MOM isn't out until April, so it's gonna be a minute before these are on social media, let alone in my Etsy shop, so I thought y'all might like a sneak peek!
