I have now added the color. The next step will be to add the shading.
I decided to change the eye color of the Fusilier, mostly because I wanted her to look more evil.

I imagine doing the enemies will be much faster than the heroes, what with there being much fewer poses and also not needing to do colour variants, but there are also a lot of enemies to do in the game and I think we would all agree that quality should come before getting it done quick. With all this considered, what do you expect the time frame to be once all of them are done (obviously, it can be flexible)? Also, don't feel any pressure to get them done fast, work at a pace you like and don't overwork or stress yourself.
