I have a flat-colorist
Added 2021-08-06 19:32:47 +0000 UTCHey, you lovely deers! The last two weeks I used for searching and working with possible flat-coloring assistants and now I found one to work with! I hope that this will make my comic-producing process easier, if not faster, and I'm excited to use some of the Patreon funds in this way to give you back STUFF eventually, haha!
In case you wonder what a flat-colorist does: Create the colors you see in the first image as layers beneath the lineart. I can later use them to add details like shadows, light, blush, scars, clothing patterns, other details, and of course put the backgrounds behind the characters. It's not really difficult to do but very time-consuming work, if it's done neatly, so it's a great step to outsource!
I layouted the whole chapter 4 and am working on the first batch now. Hope I can upload it soon for you! (Update hiatus for the public, you'll be the firsts to see it ;-))
