I don't usually do this but since this one is taking longer than usual I figured I'd post this to give you guys something while you wait.
I'll post the finished concept arts in a couple days.

2022-08-31 12:44:37 +0000 UTCthis is great. I love that the boss is visible "encased" in the crystal in the first stage, and that each abberation has a distinct model. one of my complaints with this boss in vanilla is that the colored crystals look too similar.
