SweetCanvas Weekly #16

Updates!!

• As of now, the demo is maybe ~10% complete! Like, complete complete. "Mostly ready to be seen," complete.

  Can't give a solid percentage, since certain things take longer than others to do, and I may or may not include more of the full game in the demo if I feel like I have the time, but as for what I currently plan to include, we're one tenth of the way through it.

  There was a lot of trial and error, as well as just generally having to feel out certain things, but I've completely settled into a groove now and things are moving much faster than when I was doing prototypes or just starting the finished product (especially with the help of the other coder) so I'm confident that I'll be able to get this out by the end of the year, or maybe even earlier, although I don't want to jinx it.

On to the more mundane:

• As you can see in the video, Io's "voice" is now complete; and with her, all of the main cast girls (that are in the demo, since Beth doesn't show up) now have voices!

  I'll showcase Kyt's probably, and Kaela's definitely next week, so look forward to that, if you've been liking these little noises they make.

  Of course, as mentioned last time, you'll be able to turn them off and just read normally if you don't like them, so don't worry too much about it.

• The Isa Waking CG is now a work in progress, but I'm waiting until I complete at least those two commissions that I posted recently until I get fully back to that.

• Finally, on the subject of the CGs, I'm considering streaming my work on them from now on, via Twitch, just to maybe get more eyes on the project. So follow me on there if you want to catch those when they happen.
