2023 June WIP 1 - Colour, Fur & Nails Tests

Hi I'm not dead, just been run ragged and spending the last two days reorganizing a lot of files because I didn't save things out as they got done. Because my brain is big like that.

Anyway, large chunk of this month has been me going back and forth more and finalizing some design stuff with KC here. I'm trying to keep his design fluid, part of that involves me throwing thoughts at the wall and seeing if they stick.

Part of this is messing with his fur, trying out some different tones and seeing how to use a secondary colour. I wasn't very pleased with much of it but I did find a solution for something that was bothering me about his hand.

So going to have some fur running over the top of his hands now, that and I dig him with side burns.

I'm not sure weather to keep the current white or go with a more coloured fur.

I keep coming back to the nails, I do like the black but sometimes that natural tone Just feels more right. Need to play around with it more.

Also not sure about it but might look into giving him a fur pattern along the back to help break up all that white.

Overall I'm feeling more and more settled and happy with him. I just need to work on how exactly I draw him now. There's a few things about him I need to practice more.
