Colossal Capy + Status

Sorry it's been slow there's been some computer related things going on, but in a good way this time!

Finally upgraded my PC after it being about the same (outside of exploding power supplies) for 10+ years give or take. So good news is that's all sorted, seems to be working. I shouldn't be running into the issues I had been in terms of poor performance and photoshop/general programs crashing way too damn often and in general it all being a slow hog of a system. Which it had been noticeably been getting worse and worse recently.

I'm hoping that by not dealing with a lot of the smaller technical issues, crashes and constantly fiddling with settings that it will help me make art smoother. That and the extra grunt should make this PC last for a long while yet. I sure do plan to make a lot with it.

I guess to tl;dr this: New PC after 10 years thanks to you lot. Thank you all so much for your support, it's letting me do so much and make so much happen that I couldn't have done so other wise.

I know it's probably weird I'm so sappy on here lately but it's truly been meaning the world to me right now. Because it's helping me do a lot I just wasn't able to do before and it's been a bit overwhelming at times, but like in a good way. So thank you all for sticking around.


Anyway about the picture. I wanted to try something out with regards to backgrounds after seeing what some other macro artists do. I think it's worked out here. Taking a photo and manipulating it to act as a background. I'd still rather hand draw background if I can (you just have far more control.) but for quick landscape like works it could do the job. Works well enough for doing something quickly without murdering my hand drawing thousands of tiny buildings ha.
