Another update on the March bases ~ and the first painted test prints!
I still need to add some smaller rocks around the bases of the outcrops as seen in the concept art, but the shape of the rocks and size of the cracks is looking great printed up and takes a wash really well! I'm super chuffed with how these are looking so far.

With the poll over and the month underway, work on the March Bases has begun!
Just blocking out the shapes, getting some interesting forms and FDM-friendly overhangs into the designs! I've been making sure to test the rocks with some various models to ensure that there is actually enough room for a model to stand - one of my biggest pet peeves with many bases is that there is no room for a mini!
Next step will be to turn these blocky shapes into some nice natural stones then carve...

Hey all!
Just another small image sneak peek this week! Hoping to have some video BTS out soon for the next few videos though.
Using FDM bases for an expensive plastic model kit is something I would never have been comfortable doing in the past, but I was super keen to mix this model up and utilize my bases to incorporate with the scenics on this model.

A bit of a look behind the curtain in the early stages of the editing 👀
Given the excitement that surrounded my recent FDM Dreadnought video, I wanted to create a similar video for the fantasy-crowd - and one more Ancient Dragon to add to my shelf!

The very first FDM optimized bases are here with February's release of City Streets Volume 1! Classic street paver tiles with a subtle dirt underlay, perfect for any war-torn sci-fi city or medieval fantasy street!
These bases have been designed for and tested on FDM Machines.
