So long, May

Last month, I mostly focused on working on my framing, lighting, and composition. I put out some image sets and focused on improving my craft.

I've got an idea for a short animation I'm working on and have gotten it partially blocked in. I want to try to crank out animations again and I'm feeling pretty confident about this next one. It'll be on the shorter side, since I'm still focusing on framing and now I want to apply what I've learned from stills to an animated work.

I don't know if I've mentioned it, but I've been patiently waiting for Cyberpunk 2077 for awhile now. I preordered it last year and was really looking forward to having it in my hands by now. As most people know, that didn't come to pass. The current political protests have also pushed back some sort of teaser I was hoping to see, but I can understand why. I do hope these protests result in a better situation for people. There's a lot of lack of empathy in the world right now, and it's a damn shame.

But yes, I'm hoping to get my hands on Cyberpunk when it comes out. Aside from the obvious fun that comes with a new game, the setting and such presents so many opportunities for me and my work. I'm looking forward to getting ahold of those crazy Cyberpunk models and exploring the more *erotic* aspects of them.

Unfortunately, that's still a few months off. I haven't really been too excited about porting from other games. People keep filling my inbox with requests for Overwatch commissions, but I have little more than a fleeting interest in that game these days. I loved it when it came out, but if I had to pick a game that exemplified stagnation, Overwatch would be it. The characters are cute, don't get me wrong, but there's only so much of a thing I can stomach before it just feels like the status quo: a bland, uninteresting thing people consume because it's just what they're used to.

And then there's the Zelda series. If I wrote fanfiction, it would be Zelda fanfiction, but I think it says something that I'm more afraid of Nintendo than I am of anything else that could get in the way of my work.

you are very right lol

Being afraid of Nintendo when doing lewds (for a living) is the most natural thing there is. It's all fun and games until they deploy the nukes... But luckily do they not (yet) have the copyright on blonde elf girls :3
