Huh.

I've obviously not had much to put on here lately, but I'm not *dead*, really. More to the point, I just haven't had any content that fits the niche that this patreon now has to fill. I am working on doing ports again, and I'm working on getting Yrel (from WoW) ported to blender. It's not a big job, since I'm highjacking a lot of the work MustardSFM has done for his Draenei model on Smutba.se, but it's at least something I can share here.

Progress

So as I said in my previous post, I'm porting assets from Skyrim to Blender. I just wanted to post an update detailing what I've worked on. People who have played enough of Skyrim may recognize that I'm basically rebuilding Solitude's The Winking Skeever in Blender. In pursuit of this, I've ported more than 250 assets from Skyrim to Blender, and I'll be building onto that as I continue. I'm currently at the furnishing stage.

It's a new day

June has been a rather chill month. I got a couple of really fun image sets done and I got a short animation out. 

I have two short loops planned out and partially started, but one of them is proving to be a technical challenge due to some physics shenanigans. The other is just a matter of sitting down and animating it. July 4th is coming up and I'm AMERICAN so I want to do something silly for that. Nothing more than an image or two, but still.

So long, May

Last month, I mostly focused on working on my framing, lighting, and composition. I put out some image sets and focused on improving my craft.

I've got an idea for a short animation I'm working on and have gotten it partially blocked in. I want to try to crank out animations again and I'm feeling pretty confident about this next one. It'll be on the shorter side, since I'm still focusing on framing and now I want to apply what I've learned from stills to an animated work.

Progress Report

Oo boy, I'm late, aren't I?

I finished that animation and have been posting random renders a bit recently. Dissidia Tifa got an update since the FF7 Remake resulted in a renewed interest in her. Now that the actual FF7R Tifa has been released by hantzgruber, I assume many will switch to that model, but I do know some people prefer the Dissidia version. I personally think the remake version has a better/more detailed outfit, so maybe some hybrid version is possible in the future.

Ava - Borderlands 3

Orphea 1.4

I've updated my Orphea port to Blender 2.8. As always, she's available publicly on Smutbase, sfmlab's non-SFM model repository, and I'll also be making her available here as a patron-only post for the convenience of my patrons. Everything should be working, but if anyone runs into any problems, please let me know. :)

Temporary Suspension

Some may have noticed my patreon has been suspended for the past few days. This was partially due to two things: a fun-hating funny guy from 4chan and me misunderstanding Patreon's community guidelines. As part of my status being restored, my interpretation of the situation is that I am no longer allowed to link from my pixiv to patreon. This is an unfortunate situation but it is not a deal breaker.

Status Update

I'm currently working on a small animation loop. For the first time, I'm actually rendering out different angles so that if my first pick doesn't suit your fancy, there will be other option to see the scene. I've already rendered out two of the angles, and the other two should be done and ready for upload by the end of the week. After the scenes are rendered, it's simply encoding them into webms and then doing a censored version for Pixiv.

Environments

One of the less inspiring things about jumping into Blender is that I've found environments and setpieces aren't quite as commonly shared as, say, character models. There are some, but not as many as you'd think. Thus one thing I find myself needing practice on is doing environments. For many of my sets, I've borrowed assets from other sources.
