Ecchi Sensei - Status Update

Hi guys!

Some time has passed since the last status update. This is partly because there was nothing new to report, and partly because I waited for this moment to have a bit more to write about.

The following items are on the agenda:

1.) Halloween Special

2.) Status of Month 1

3.) Looking for a translator! (German <-> English)

1.) Halloween Special:

The Halloween Special aka "Fapoween" was the only special that appeared every year. Valentine, Christmas, New Year and White Day Special were all rather spontaneous ideas because I felt like it and, above all, had the necessary resources in the form of time and a fully functional team. I wrote "war" because it was with a heavy heart that I made the decision not to do a Halloween Special this year.

I would have loved to write another wacky Crazy Nurse world destruction-scenario-story in which our beloved teacher saves the world by cumming, but I already saw all the comments in my mind, such as: "Releasing a special, but not Month 1? Fuck you, you fat kitty cat!"

Well, of course you could also argue in the other direction, such as: "Yaaaay, finally something new to play. Thank you, BlueCat, I love you!"

But after careful consideration, I decided to focus our resources entirely on Month 1.

I hope you understand and are not as disappointed as I am because there won't be a Halloween special this year.

There is definitely one planned in the upcoming year!

2.) Status of Month 1:

Well, there is not much new to report, except that we are still working on it, and I have had a serious word with my people about the overall situation.

During this conversation I mainly talked with my right hand and put a lot of pressure on, which led to an ultimatum. An ultimatum that expires shortly before the end of the year and by then Month 1 must be finished. If you can't play Month 1 at the end of the year, I would fall back on an alternative plan that I considered some time ago. I'm not going to give any details yet, as I still hope that I never have to put this plan into action, but the bottom line is that this plan will bring us back to regular game updates very quickly.

My alternative plan is anything but optimal, as I would have to do without a lot in the implementation, and so would you.

But as I said, the plan will only come into effect if we cannot present Month 1 this year.

Until then, there are still 2 months left. The health of my right hand is still far from good, but at least there is always some progress from his side with regard to the work on Month 1.

I will definitely keep you guys up to date!

3.) Looking for a translator! (German <-> English)

To all those out there who are able to speak German and English, who have a lot of free time and want to sacrifice this free time to translate thousands of words from German into English and want to check both German and English for errors. You can't imagine anything better than taking orders from a fat blue cat and getting a lot of dirty stuff to read (from the script! Not from me personally! Unless... you like it...) then please, please get in touch.

I am looking for a reliable translator who, ideally, is already familiar with "git" and can handle deadline pressures well.

Hallo Leute!

Seit dem letzten Statusupdate ist wieder etwas Zeit vergangen. Das liegt zum einen daran, weil es nichts Neues zu berichten gab und zum anderen, weil ich auf diesen Moment gewartet habe, um heute wieder etwas mehr zu schreiben.

Folgende Punkte stehen an der Tagesordnung:

1.) Halloween Special

2.) Status von Monat 1

3.) Übersetzer gesucht! (Deutsch <-> Englisch)

1.) Halloween Special:

Das Halloween Special aka "Fapoween" war das einzige Special, welches jedes Jahr erschien. Valentine, Christmas, New Year und White Day Special waren allesamt eher spontane Einfälle, weil ich Lust und Laune darauf hatte und vor allem die nötigen Mittel in Form von Zeit und einem voll funktionsfähigen Team. Ich habe "war" geschrieben, weil ich schweren Herzens die Entscheidung getroffen habe, dieses Jahr kein Halloween Special zu machen.

Ich hätte liebend gerne wieder eine abgedrehte Crazy Nurse Weltzerstörungsszenario-Geschichte geschrieben, bei der unser geliebter Lehrer die Welt durch Samenergüsse rettet, aber ich sah bereits die Kommentare vor meinem geistigen Auge wie zum Beispiel: "Special releasen, aber kein Monat 1? Fick dich, du fette Mistkatze!"

Nun, natürlich könnte man aber auch in die andere Richtung argumentieren wie beispielsweise: "Juhuuu, endlich wieder etwas Neues zum Spielen. Danke, BlueCat, ich liebe dich!"

Aber nach reiflicher Überlegung entschied ich, unsere Ressourcen zur Gänze auf Monat 1 zu fokussieren.

Ich hoffe, ihr versteht das und seid nicht so enttäuscht, wie ich es bin, weil es dieses Jahr kein Halloween Special geben wird.

Für nächstes Jahr ist definitiv wieder eines geplant!

2.) Status von Monat 1:

Nun, allzu viel Neues gibt es diesbezüglich nicht zu berichten, außer, dass wir noch daran arbeiten und ich ein ernstes Wörtchen mit meinen Leuten über die Gesamtsituation geredet habe.

Bei diesem Gespräch habe ich vor allem mit meiner rechten Hand geredet und ordentlich Druck gemacht, welches zu einem Ultimatum führte. Ein Ultimatum, das kurz vor Ende des Jahres abläuft und bis dahin muss Monat 1 erscheinen. Falls ihr Monat 1 bis Jahresende nicht spielen könnt, so würde ich auf einen Ausweichplan zurückgreifen, welchen ich mir vor geraumer Zeit überlegt habe. Ich werde noch keine Einzelheiten nennen, da ich weiterhin darauf hoffe, diesen Plan niemals in die Tat umsetzen zu müssen, aber im Endeffekt kann ich euch mitteilen, dass dieser Plan uns sehr rasch wieder zu regelmäßigen Spieleupdates führen wird.

Mein Ausweichplan ist alles andere als optimal, da ich bei der Umsetzung auf sehr vieles verzichten müsste und ebenso ihr.

Aber wie gesagt, der Plan wird nur dann Inkrafttreten, wenn wir dieses Jahr kein Monat 1 präsentieren können.

Bis dahin sind es noch 2 Monate. Der Gesundheitszustand meiner rechten Hand ist zwar weiterhin alles andere als gut, aber zumindest gibt es von seiner Seite aus immer wieder etwas Fortschritt in Bezug auf die Arbeiten an Monat 1.

Ich werde euch auf jeden Fall auf dem Laufenden halten!

3.) Übersetzer gesucht! (Deutsch <-> Englisch)

An all diejenigen da draußen, die der deutschen sowie der englischen Sprache mächtig sind, die viel Freizeit haben und diese Freizeit opfern möchten, um Tausende Wörter aus dem Deutschen ins Englische übersetzen zu wollen und dabei das Deutsche sowie auch das Englische auf Fehler überprüfen möchten. Sich nichts lieber vorstellen können, als Befehle von einer fetten blauen Katze entgegenzunehmen und sehr viel versautes Zeug zu lesen bekommen, (Aus dem Script! Nicht von mir persönlich! Es sei denn... du stehst darauf...) dann bitte, bitte melde dich.

Ich suche einen zuverlässigen Übersetzer, der sich im besten Fall auch bereits mit "git" auskennt und mit Termindruck gut umgehen kann.
