I don't think we've talked about pre-1600s Sulvain very much at all actually 🤔 His clothing isn't particularly inspired by historical clothing, but his arm sleeves are inspired by archery gloves, like the ones Ashitaka wears in Princess Mononoke. I wonder how their dynamic will change with how time has passed. Raziol was young when they met now he’s hundreds of years old, and seems to have matured a lot. Also now they are in a relatively more accepting time and place (I know it’s the 70s, but they’re in San Francisco, there’s a thriving queer community/movement, and it’s certainly better than France way back when).

Ohh, I almost forgot that Raziol didn't see anything of Sulvain going kind of crazy back then. That was such a contrast to his usual soft spoken behavior. The last pages have really shown that there are still so many things they don't know about each other and that'll be a lot to take in. But still, it's so wonderful to see them sit down and talk to each other after all this time!! Aaahh, I love them so much!! Seeing them together makes me so happy!!! 🥺🥺😭💕💕💕💕

To tell me everything about yourself" Like Raziol knows Sulvain has his secrets. He may not suspect how big and dangerous, but it's not something you can drop to your date easily. Someone may argue if 3-4 months is a lot or not to gain enough trust to be told your lover is dead. Especially when you are afraid he will freak out and leave you. I guess Raziol could be upset that Sulvain didn't trust him enough (in his opinion/yet) to tell him while Vivi, Sesam, now Sherwin and Mar all know when they are not in so deep relationship with him, but I wouldn't call it lying.
