2024-09-30 23:49:58 +0000 UTCI was watching just a standard release DVD copy and my version has all of those extra scenes you mentioned just in the movie so I was hitting the pause button a bit but all good. You guys will like the 3rd one. It's a good movie it was just hard to follow up this one for audiences cuz people love the 2nd so much.

At first I was wondering how well it would hold up because the beginning of this honestly feels a bit worse than the first movie, but then once things get going its really awesome. These first two alien movies are so good back to back they are up there with T1 and T2 for amazing original and sequel combos. The things that hold this movie back a bit are the very slow start and then the ending is honestly pretty nonsensical even though its super cool. That door to outer space was open for a loooooong time lol. Before coming back to these two, I was always on the team of thinking this is the best but now I'm not as sure. They both are so good and work together so beautifully that I feel like you need to watch both to have the full experience. I'm very interested to see the next ones, because I've only seen the first two and then Prometheus and Covenant.

2024-09-28 03:55:39 +0000 UTCoh hell yea,this is the best Aliens movie ever made,the action,the effects the memorable one liners like Game over man Game over man and get away from her you bitch and vasquez saying: all I need to know is where they are.this movie has inspirations to Halo,conker’s bad fur day and other video game stuff like in helldivers 2 and this is before starship troopers ,in the extended version they put two auto sentry guns in the hallway to hold the aliens off,the other one is a deleted scene of ripley looking at a pic of her daughter amanda ripley for which she was in that alien isolation game,after watching Alien romulus and watching this,romulus is 2nd best and this one is 1st best,James Cameron knows how to make an action movie entertaining and even the mechs in this that he would use later would become advanced and futuristic in his Avatar movie,Alien 3 is the worst and insulting and boring and depressing,it was david fincher’s first movie and there were studio interferences and david hated it,he wanted his name off of that movie and then later on he redeem himself by making fight club,and Alien resurrection was ok it was a better story than 3,it’s silly,dumb and made by a french guy
