Always love to read your thoughts Blusalee! We'll see what Huygens, Sulvain and Raziol are up too in the scene after this next one~ Sulvain does have his pin, it's just hidden away. ;D As far as pins go, some of them may have amplifying properties, but a lot of them are just ordinary pins. :3

(Though I expected Sulvain to be the one wearing one… glad he didn’t either!) I’m not sure what proper etiquette was at that time attending royal events with or without a wig. I know Louis XIV was quite the fashion icon and people wanted to emulate his look. No matter… That leads me to wonder what the reason for this royal ball is and why are all these people invited. Wouldn’t it usually be on the invitation? Like “In honor of ___, you are hereby invited to ___.” It seems everyone is there. (Or at least Raziol seems to be the only one of Huygen’s students… lol. Or maybe they came separately.) Perhaps a ball for scholars? Huygens, Raziol, Sulvain… not sure about Vivi or the others. Guess I’ll have to see! I wonder what the conversation will be like between Huygens and Raziol- I assume he’ll talk to them both. Will they all hang out together to talk about the orbs/other stuff and then the two of them sneak away? Heh heh… Also, is Sulvain wearing his pin? Which leads me down another rabbit hole about those pins/crests. If his is made out of death’s scythe, what are the others made of? Again my brain, lol. It’s so hard to wait for pages, since there is so much I want to know! :D
