Hunchback IIC 3D Sculpt

Ok I know you guys are itching for that Stalker, but I'm giving you this death machine instead :)

The Hunchback IIC, sculpt worked on by Jason Spykerman and myself.
Came out really nicely I think. Rather chunky/blocky as far as smaller details go but I think that works for a mech designed to go down. Easier bits to manufacture and replace, rather than a big clean shell. Still has decal space on the lower legs and forearm shields.
Also because the X-cut haters keep saying they're for ammo bins. I'm making sure to give you more X-cuts on ammo bins :)))))))

The super low angle pic in the attachments is free to share online!

Fantastic!

Danny

nice

Jeffery Smith

Haha yes, a more impressive wash, but more work beyond that.

Anthony Scroggins

Definitely different heads.

Anthony Scroggins

Curious if you guys thought of using the same head as what you are using for the hunchback?

it certianly looks like 50 tons of hatred and fatalism

James Bixby

Daaaaamn! that looks good.

Now that I'm starting to paint miniatures, I see all those crevasses and spaces between armor plates and I cringe... all that shadowing! all that highlighting! gah! I love it though!

Maarten Broekman

My fault, showing the ammo bins itself would be pretty stupid, especially regarding the fact that there is rear armor. But i like the thought that the (armored?) "opening hatch" (guess thats the better word) would be easy to recognize to make resupply easier.

Swen Decker

Ammo bins will rarely get "shown" but we do our very best to get JJ's, heatsinks, and rear weapons done properly.

Anthony Scroggins

I haven't actually checked how they match up to the Atlas, etc. I just wanted them to look good. Too big and they get a little comical. But they're ultras, and rotary types at that so they can get away with less barrel, more mechanism built down into the torsos.

Anthony Scroggins

It practically oozes tactical desperation. I love it!

Terence Harris

one of my favourite mechs, yes I know it's strange to like something that is so easy to kill but unleashing this beast in a city fight is a ton of fun

Nyxus

I have to say while the mech in general is nice, i really appreciate the work done on the backside. Jumpjets and ammo bins (X ftw) at the right locations for example, its those small things that makes my inner groknard happy. Also the back of the ACs look really badass.

Swen Decker

Well done!

Andrew McKenna

Thanks for the back shot!

Mike

Liking it a lot. Is it just me or do the auto cannons seem a little undersized compared to previous sculpts of the Hunchie IIC? Probably to keep them in scale with all the other AC-20s on the new minis.

Kanrei13

Very Nice Murder Machine.

Trevor R.N.

Probably my favorite of the IIC's

Jarod DePastene

Looking fine, dude. Pytor would love to die in a machine like this.

David Razi

Ooh! I like it!! Actually a lot - I have always hated the Hback2c - but really like this one!!

This is Boss. Not the mech I wanted to see... (Stalker & the Decapod Monarch take that spot) but great. Might actually use one now it's not nearly the same size as an atlas too)

Stewart Spencer

I'd say most Clanners are going to have at least one because almost everyone will want one or all of the Marauder IIC, Warhammer IIC, or Behemoth. There's also those Supernova loving weirdos haha.

Anthony Scroggins

Badass IIC. Never been much of a fan before, but now I have to have one!

Taylor Shead

Turned out sooo good! :D

Jordan G Roberts

Boom. I love this 'Mech for all the wrong reasons and you've just made me very happy with these scuplts

Alex F

Yes, what if the King Crab?
