A video popped up on my feed about power burnishing. I'd never seen such a thing.
Turns out, it's a thing. You can even buy commercial burnishers. I really had no choice to but to build one and try it for myself.

The Y axis on the Maho mill has been in bad shape and fixing the ballnut/screw has been long overdue.
I took a swing at rebuilding it and missed. But what doesn't kill us makes us stronger right?

A filing vise is probably one of those things you think you'll never need... and you'd probably be right. But I wanted to make one anyway!

I haven't been able to try the pulsed mig welding feature of the HTP propulse until now. A bit of a learning curve but I think I'm figuring it out! Way more fun than having stuff catch on fire. Mostly.
