Here's a collection of sculpts from various packs that got finished up recently. After putting them all side by side I noticed a certain presence of long range missiles. Though that Orion and Bushwacker can lay down some serious medium and close range lead too.
You've had a taste of how these sculpts also assist as art assets, with the box set art pieces, promotional posters, and novel covers of late. Those are with our art team strained to the limit. Imagine the long term, all the nice color art we'll be able to do with great consistency, with 100+ mechs on file.
I know I'm looking forward to when I'm free'd up enough to do some color myself. I've been strictly sketching and 3D modeling for about a year on this, and a lot more to go haha.

2020-03-24 01:52:36 +0000 UTCA week late to this convo, Robert, but I wanted to say this redesign is a complete ret-con of every previous design ever previously made. All the looks before these no longer exist. These models are now what the base variants look like, and will be used as the base whenever IWM gets around to making visual representations of the other variants of the mechs.

2020-03-01 17:24:36 +0000 UTCGreat lineup. I like the Orion head from what little I can see. I hope you arenβt pushed into more of a bay-windows-on-the-side-of-a-house concept. Im not sure about the Trebuchetβs head there but Iβll wait to see more angles. The big helmet is one of the few things I think works better in the original design than in the MWO version.
