I’ve never understood the Kit Fox’s design. Looking at the old model and art, it seems to alternate between having: a) a one-eyed head over a jutting-out torso (with the gap you’re showing as a canopy acting as a neck). b) a giant one-eyed head (with the gap looking like a mouth). c) a giant head wearing a headlamp (with the gap being its eyes, as you’ve shown). d) a big head wearing a helmet with a headlamp - like c), except the upper half of the head is too wide to look like it’s all one head. My favorite of those is a), but I only get that impression from really old-looking art. I like d) second. But it’s a strange mech no matter how it’s done.

Sounds good. Just make it less Cute and more Killer. The prominent sensor suite also provides a sinister cyclopian aspect creating a one-eyed goblinesque aspect to this little bugger.

This is one of my sketches where I don't quite like the proportions so I'll have them finalized in 3D. The MWDA one was nice, though maybe a little too curved on the cockpit.

The viewport varies between art and sculpts, some are very clear one way or the other. I believe how I've done it was the original intent, with the upper part being a sensor pod. Depending on the sculpt you have sticking to the pod might make more sense for glass.

Would like to see this one be a little more gangly. The MWDA Clix mini is actually my favorite version of the Kit Fox. It has a goblinoid feel to it that just adds a bit of mischief and menace to the ‘ Mech.

Roberts comment above reminds me of, I think your own comment on the new Thunderbolt mini's cockpit. So I am a little concerned at how small the cockpit is on this, but otherwise its awesome!

Looking good! I like the "shared" parts approach with the Adder and the Cougar because, well, that's what it's supposed to have! I always figured that the little nubbin on the front was the viewport, but I guess it's the in-between bit... time to repaint a few things.

I had to look twice before I noticed the hip thing. This one looks really good. AND you kept the long barrels for the weapons. Awesome!

The kit Fox was always a bit of an ugly duckling, but now it’s like a pug; weird, small and full of personality lol

Cool mech, the pilot has a super wide field of view :) Re-used parts make sense, they're omni mechs after all

This looks really cool. I like the little fox. Small enough for a light, but sturdy to take some punishment and give it back with the Gauss. I'm really looking forward to all the new mechs!

It looks great. I never liked the MWO interpretation of the Kit Fox and much more preferred the interpretation in Mech Commander back in the days. This one aligns very well with the Mech Commander one.
