Knighting Part 5 : Process
Added 2023-09-11 12:18:13 +0000 UTCThere was a lot of back and forth for me choosing the colors of their outfits. I often don’t know what color I want characters clothing to be until after I’ve colored the rest of the image so I know what values and tones won’t clash with the rest of the atmosphere.
You can see I generally like to ink from the foreground and work my way to the back rather than starting with the characters and working outward. Like building a theatre set.
