I think football needs a sin bin. A weapon for the ref where they feel their authority has been undermined by petulance or the like, that doesn't ruin the game. Would guard the integrity of a game against stupidity from both the players and the referee. Would also be a decent answer to rotational fouling, time-wasting, and other cynical tactics that are hard to justify reds for.

I have a question for Clive and the rest of the team. In December when we were scoring goals for fun you could see the forwards changing roles, swapping positions mid game creating overload. Saka to the left to create a goal Martinelli to the right etc Jan came and it’s like the players are glued to the structure. Do we miss this element of chaos to help create chances? Why would we stop?

The only way we can have few decisions go our way is to have an English player as captain. So make Ben white the captain. He will always be in the ear of the refree in English accent. Imagine a laca with his gallic accent in the ears of refree. It makes a lot of difference on PGMOL which is a white dominated exclusive club. We have to be smart to take the chance now as we are predominantly an English player dominated club.

Shouldn’t the ref have given the first yellow prior to the next phase of the game?

The whole point of a yellow card is it is a warning. The referee is supposed to be warning the player not to do that again. When you give two warnings simultaneously it defeats the whole purpose. As a referee, you want to be adhering to the point of the rules.

Listening to the pod as I try & get some z's. What can we do regarding these reds?. I don't want to believe in conspiracy theories, but as we're not malicious, it does look odd. The only thing I can pinpoint is our lack of composure. That is something we can control & change. Don't know if any of you feel the same. What can we change/coach to move us on. We will not get to where we want to go with this amount of cards

I think you're a tad off... Martinelli was pissed... The Wolves player with a thousand names was fouling him left and right and nothing was getting called. A certain number of straws... No way was Martinelli snickering down the field thinking "free yellow!"
