Yeah he does remind me a little Henry. Isak over Vlahovic. I guess we get him at 90m EUR if we don’t get Vlahovic - honestly this nobbing around by his agent can be a blessing in disguise.

I've not really watched much of David, but from this alone, I agree with you guys. Didn't look enough there for it to really up our level. As Clive said, he looks like he'd walk in and fit perfectly, doing things similarly to how we already are (obviously, with more pace and fitness than 2022 Laca), but I don't see him adding many points on his own. I feel Vlahovich would through goals and strength, and Isak probably would through raw physicality and moments of genius. I really think this is the moment to spend that bit more to get the game-changer, rather than just a good solid fit.

Tbf we have been playing pretty well lately with Laca, so a player like him but better couldn't be too bad

Is Isak similar to Henry when he signed for Juve?

I think the likes of david and watkins are lacca replacements to be done in summer if he does not sign because they can play in many positions up front. I do not feel signing these players will stop us going for a vladovic, isak, DCL as our target man we need two senior strikers by the end of the summer unless lacca signs

Very random question, but I remember seeing from when Lille won the league David celebrating with both a Canadian and Haitian flag. When I looked it up, he was actually born in New York City to Haitian parents and lived in Haiti for a while as a small child before his family immigrated to Canada, and he went to French speaking school there. This is a very long way of saying, I am not sure if he pronounces his name 'Jonathan David' like the English name, or instead with a French pronunciation as 'Jonatan Daveed.' Does anyone know if he has ever said which way he prefers it pronounced?
