We Hope to Meet You in Las Vegas!

Our Las Vegas event is finally officially announcing tomorrow. But for you here, I wanted to get the information out just slightly early. It's at the Wynn in Las Vegas from August 20-22, and most of us will arrive sometimes the 19th.

The event is officially called "Futbolfest 2021." There's a reason for that name specifically but I won't bore you with it for now. Suffice it to say that calling anything "football" in America is always at risk of confusing people.

You can book a discounted room at the Wynn through the link above. You can also register for the event for free during this initial period. The registration entitles you to attend all the events. As it stands, everyone associated with the pod aside from Tim will be there. Even with the discount, the Wynn isn't cheap, but people will be staying at a variety of hotels I'm sure, and it's all close enough together that is doesn't really matter where we stay. You can still attend all the events regardless. 

We've got a ton of fun events lined up, but it's also Vegas so we should be able to have some free time to just enjoy. For many of us, this will be the first time we've travelled and had any really fun for a long time.

More than anything, the chance to get together with many of you is something I've been looking forward to for a long time. This community really is quite special and I can't wait to take all the debates offline and have them over a few drinks rather than furiously typing them into the discord. For those who can't be there, you will be missed, but there will be future events, hopefully in London for an actual match, and hopefully many more in all kinds of interesting places.

The weekend of the event we play Chelsea, so that should be either very fun, or a total disaster. But either way, a problem shared is a problem halved, etc etc.
