Paul we get it you will defend Arteta for anything and at any time anywhere, let other people talk. At 25 minutes you cut off Clive to put forth another milquetoast defense of Arteta. Please let other people criticize Arsenal and Arteta because we are slipping into mediocrity more and more season by season.

I think Paul was absolutely bang on about Arteta 45 mins in. Arteta could be our Brentford signing but at manager

Nice pod. I have a habit of writing long comments on your pods and will continue :). I have to make two points one on CL and One on Transfer. CL Final i thought was a drab affair and the underlying metrics tells you that. The game was intriguing but its mostly in midfield and not enough punches thrown. Chelsea had 8 shots , 2 on target and Man C with 7-1. With all the riches in the world and still you cant get a good game, shame on them. Anyways i have made it clear, if Arteta is following Pep and it looks like when you look at our Villareal Second leg and CL final, i don't want him at my club. Biggest games and no goals scored and not much of a threat is ridiculous. I would say that Arsenal in 2005 final with 10 men played way better than this Man City side. I also think that we are not far off from these two sides. To believe we are to mean that you have already given up. Sports always has a way of leveling things up and favor underdogs. so we can never give up hope. On the transfers, i commented earlier as well, not to have ACN in mind and be prepared for it from a squad perspective is suicidal. We will have at least 4 and potentially 5 if we buy Bissouma off for ACN. 4 of them will be first team players. We have to have sufficient backups and yet not weaken the team during Jan and Feb. To ignore ACN and look at squad on long term would be daft. As Keynes said "in the Long term we are all dead'.

Ewaar! How are you bro it’s Celestis from AM , heard you won lol.

Hey guys thanks for another insightful pod! I do not trust Arteta one bit to be honest. I don't think he learns from his mistakes. Moreover, he could not inspire his players for the Europa League semi final that was crucial for the long term future of the club. If the club has any money to invest in new players, it should be used to lure Conte at Arsenal. He's a proven winner and knows how to motivate his players. I don't want Conte to go to Tottenham.

You guys have great sense of timing. Thank you sooooo much for these. I NEED my daily dose of Arsenal content.
