I thought this was one of the better games to watch with the right tempo and especially good central play. We used flanks and middle of the pitch very well in the attacking third which ideally should have bought Auba into play. He did have couple of one on one situations. I feel that Auba is going to be a problem next season. If you see his movements in the box for crosses he seldom attacks them , but usually hangs on the far post expecting the ball to miss all teh defenders. If he attacks the ball at the near post he will have better chances to score. But it's very worrying and I feel center forward is going to be a huge challenge for the next season. We have found a good balance in the middle with Partey and xhaka. That pass from Xhaka to Partey and his take and hitting the post was sensational. I think the solution seems to be for Xhaka to stay slightly back and Partey to be box to box. Thanks guys for the podcasts and I thoroughly enjoyed it. I discovered pods a bit late but joined the better half of season and enjoyed your company. Look forward to more going forward and will remain your patron unless Arsenal gets relegated ;).

I liked bissouma in this game and I like the idea of signing him, but I’m kind of drawn to the idea of signing sander berge instead; Especially given the fact that they’ve both been heavily linked but are actually quite different interpretations of a 6/8 player. I think berge is a superior ball carrier and technician. I look at the midfield crowd scenes in today’s game and I worry if bissouma will add as much creatively compared to berge. Bissouma didn’t seem so effective in build up against us, especially with odegaard man marking and pressing him. I can see stuivenberg bringing berge to arsenal. Arteta does trust his coaching staff with a signing or two, make of that what you will. But sander berge is more exciting than runnarsson

Joe Willock is similar to Frank Lampard. Arrives late in the box, not the playmaker or gifted passer. He is a runner and is able to score. Really useful if you are trying to play in a 4-3-3. Would be a really good KLOPP Player.
