Great podcast guys 👍🏻👍🏻. Clive, could listen to you all day talk about Arsenal and football. Top stuff!

Anyone have Matty Flamini's contact details? He could probably buy the club from Stan

Nice Podcast guys. Iam of the opinion that these guys are not idiots and what they did now was just a what is called Dipstick survey to figure out what are they up against. They have now seen who are in the opposite corner and will work on getting them to thier corner by the usual corrupt practices. They will figure out how to work on politicians and get them on their side. They will involve the lobbyists, other politicians to get what they want. So this ain't over unless the rules of Ownership are changed and some power is taken away from single ownership. Don't mistake, they will be back with much more planning and more people in their corner.

Paul "I'm not a groupie" posnaninmypants lol

Any plans for an impromptu pre match build up for Everton match? Possible sticky situation with the protests taking place. Could be an interesting one.

I am just through 18 mins of this podcast and had to comment. I heard Paul use the word American and imperialist in the same sentence and I thought finally Mahatma Gandhi can rest in peace. The entire imperialistic kingdom of 16th century onwards which my country endured for 300 yes started from business East India company. So when I read about the opposition to the Super League came in from the so called 'Royalty' the hypocrisy of that made me laugh. Make no mistake iam totally against Super League as for me it's Americanisation of a sport that doesn't need that and I do want to maintain the tradition of football clubs.

Thoroughly enjoyed the pod, with some great views. And agree be careful wat u wish for. 🥴 But am more than happy to take that risk. Midtable Mediocrity IMO is the worst of all positions to be in. #kroenkeout

This was a really, really enjoyable and nuanced discussion. Great to hear Scott on the pod too 😃👍 I kind of think one of the biggest mistakes the clubs made was announcing this during the season. If they announce it in June when there are no matches in stadiums and players are spread out across the globe on holiday or at various different national team training camps, then fan protests/unrest have a lot less coverage and impact. I thought it was great that you all touched on the realities of what an alternative to KSE actually looks like realistically as I feel like that gets massively overlooked by people calling for KSE to go - I personally don’t think Arsenal end up with an obviously better owner at this point.

It drives me nuts every time someone describes the Super League as being like the NBA. It's not like the NBA at all! Not every league that doesn't have a promotion/relegation system is like the NBA!

The anti lamb brigade at it again.

Paul's cadenza on drawing the line is one of the best things I've heard on the pod. 'They are a class, and they are not our class.' Bang on.

When Clive describes his emotional response to this - one I share as a fan of 50 years - it feels like a Naked Lunch moment. William Burroughs' novel was given its title by Jack Kerouac, who said it described the moment when everybody can see what's on the end of everybody else's fork. That's where we're at now. I guess the question we're all trying to answer is: what do we do with with this knowledge? Which is essentially the moment, as you have said, when power reveals itself. These last two podcasts have been an invaluable help in trying to get to an answer. No. 1: Kroenke Out.

16:25 - Clive was just about about to make a point and he gets interrupted by Paul who adds absolutely nothing of value, and then Clive never gets back to the point he was about to make. Really, really awful to listen to, Paul just had 14 minutes to say everything he wanted to say, let Clive talk please.

Clive at 41:05 the relationships with all involved. They couldn't care less, let's see what happens next

I was beginning to have “Arsenal vision withdraw” symptoms.. been waiting for this, thanks!

Criminal that this was attempted a few days before the semi final. I wonder who between the players & management have been burned so badly, that they no longer respect their employers. Slim margins win matches & this could come back to bite us.
