Interesting points from Tim regarding what you see versus what you don’t see by going/not going to the match. I’m one of those wankers with a season ticket albeit in the much cheaper north bank upper than Tim’s cosy East Stand seat, but I always rewatch the game the next day (usually hungover) because i can’t truly gauge a performance’s finer details and without replays etc, however one thing that definitely you get the feel for by going is off the ball work and ‘the true momentum’ of the game. I always felt two players were massively underrated by tv and that’s Aaron Ramsey & Samir Nasri. Great podcast guys!

Synching issue at 50 mins everyone talking over each other!!

Responding to Paul about the Cedric deal - No, it's bad process. We paid a loan fee for a player who couldn't play for us and would be available in the summer for free. We didn't seem to get any real discount or secure an advantage in taking him on loan when he wouldn't play.

Biggest thing I disagree with is that Tenet got better after watching it a second time

Fascinating discussion around watching at home vs on TV. I remember that Fox had the option to watch a match on its 'tactical cam' during the 2018 World Cup and it was just a bird's eye view of the pitch without commentary. I'd pay extra to have that option but haven't seen it pop up as an option on any of the streaming platforms. Great discussion as usual. Love you all. Thanks.

Hears Clive Doing Arsecast this week = Immediately switches over to Arsecast. PS. U guys should do a waffle type podcast

Agreed. I think Arteta is a good coach but not yet a top one. West Ham have a good but ordinary squad. With our talent, we should be top 6 at least. Hope I'm wrong but with the transfer rumours combined with the over-structured football and dislike of flair players (Pepe, Martinelli etc.,), I don't think there is a happy ending with Arteta.

Great pod as always boys, up until the 50th minute where the audio goes wonky and Elliot starts speaking over Paul and Tim like never before... and that's sayin somethin :P

jeez elliot always cutting off tim haha

Great podcast again lads, re the Arteta discussion I think you guys overlooked the most obvious question: has he gotten the maximum performance(s) with the current squad? Reference this against Lampard vs Tuchel. This would be good for future podcast

Starting at about 50min there's a syncing issue. Elliot's track is around 10 sec ahead of Tim and Paul leading to some overtalk.
