This was a fairly long art development process.
I've always been interested in trying out a "Day of the Dead" theme, because of their traditional details, the colours, the contrast between shadow and light at night time. But I never managed to finish such a complex scene in time for the date of that festival. Therefore each time I was late and I had to I postpone continuing work on this art until the next year.

Woah! At the beginning I though to draw something simply, and I'm definitely didn't count that this will turn in to something complex like this one. From other hand, it also gave me a chance to play with composition on each panel, and make me learn of how to keep it in one piece without overloading it with large amount of the details. Yeah, the drafts versions has contain many details at the beginning, which I have to refuse while I did lining and colouring.

The complex scenes always wins, but it also takes a lot of time and effort too!

Oh dear... Even at the rough sketch stage, I can already see that this is going to be a very complex scene (background especially!).
From opposite side, such task will be an interesting challenge for me, despite I realize that working on this art will take a lot of my time. But I'm already curious to see, how it will turn out later.

Well, I had to take a break from making commission arts for awhile because of my irl stuff, but I had to get back to it soon or later. Hah, maybe it's even better "later" than never.
