Left this rewatch late to space out my lack of Arsenal: just want to say 3 things 1. obv theres a need to not let these run for eternity; but @Elliot should feel free to pause games more often when you want to discuss something a bigger thing (like why we could/couldnt play like this at 0-0. ATM, I think you manage to get the question out, but something always happens in-game by then, which leaves it hanging. 2. Like the 'test the hypothesis' format. Mine was that Auba didnt play as badly as we made it out (commentators play a role as well because they were pretty much hammering him). I actually like his build up play fine--all I would like is for him to be a bit more energetic in his pressing/ overall demeanour but hey its an unprecedented year. 3. To Elliot--big ups to you for tempering your Auba & Arteta takes. I think it was quite a revealing moment in today's pod: when you said you and Tim were most anti-emery (because you wanted Arteta); helpful reminder that were all arguing from a shared universe--and that sometimes you guys don't have time to rewatch games or MOTD, and yet you have to come on and engage us listeners game after game. Its worth reiterating: we are all lucky to have all you guys!!

Great analysis as always guys, cheers. Odegaard was brilliant, and I think he can get even better. I agree with Clive that he will be loaned again next year, I cannot see the club finding >50m unless we manage to clinch a CL spot. On Pepe.. yes, is there any reason he couldn't be a CF? I think he has this unique combination of Auba's shooting and Saka's skills that are a nightmare for defenders in the box, yet he is often wasted on the touchline. Arsenal has a golden history of converting wingers into centre forwards and if Laca leaves I wouldn't mind him taking up that position one bit.

Really enjoyed that, thanks guys!! Sometimes feel Pepe should work on his balance at times? For a big man, he gets muscled out of duels in a bit clumsy way, due to his balance? You can also see it at his two chances in this game, quickly loses his balance. Could that be improved? Agree he could be a CF. Reminds me so much of Van Persie. Great curling shot, sees a through ball, great in agility small spaces, can beat a man. Quick but not super fast. Future looks bright. Wonderful times.
