I think that’s entirely fair and I probably would’ve written it myself after first viewing and looking at the stats. But watching again I couldn’t help but be impressed with what we were doing.

Tbf I think the conversation in this game can be slightly skewed by the fact that Villa are genuinely a better side than us this season, they’re also the best team at holding a lead in the league and we’re the worst at gaining points from behind statistically. This was basically an absolute must win 6 pointer for Europa league spots so to say we were fantastic and unlucky to lose when we created less than 1 xG after trailing from the first minute is slightly disingenuous imo, our biggest problem this season *is* that we don’t score enough so all the great pre-play is kinda for the birds if we don’t get anything out of it, just my opinion love the convo as always 👊🏾
