Just watched this video after signing Partey and I am now 100% convinced that Arsenal wanted Partey AND Aouar, but Partey was first priority. All being well, Arsenal will be back in for Aouar within the next couple of transfer windows. The deadwood will be gone and Arsenal will have more financial wiggle room to seal the deal. The most important thing is that Aouar knows he is wanted by Arsenal, who have just demonstrated it’s ambitions by signing Partey. I am quietly confident that; as long as Arsenal sustain the steady improvement, Aouar will eventually sign.
