Elliot, Tim and Paul give headlines, stock rising and falling, and some bonus sections on fullbacks and midfield.

Well I just joined patreon so I'm loving the podcast :). Controversial opinion... Saka has played his best football to date.... At left back....?

I just wanna throw something out there: I think some people didn’t love this podcast because it wasn’t fully leaning into the positives which I totally understand. I think one of the challenges we have is that the format means there will always be a positive section after a bad result but also a negative section after a good result. The reason I designed this format is because I wanted something clearly different from the main podcast so the two could live together. I don’t wanna lose that distinction but I understand if maybe that means the instant reaction doesn’t always fully fit the emotion of the results so maybe there’s some tweaking to do to do

Mostly I totally agree. Although a game like today I think he would’ve been a better choice than AMN who is a bit more specifically defensive. But overall yes I agree.

I was a bit too snarky. Admittedly

Sorry we led with stock falling today though. Tim surprised me! 😂

Hey guys. Just a possible discussion point for the main pod.
I’ve seen a lot of people angry about the fact that since Saka signed his contract he’s been in and out of the side. My personal feeling is that this is a good thing. For years we saw our young stars drastically over played (think Jack Wilshire) and by the time they were in their early 20’s they were completely burned out.
What are your guys thoughts on this and do you think that this is Arteta displaying his “managerial” prowess?

Once again Elliot murders Elneny, despite Mo having another good name. Luckily the Arsenal manager appreciates the player.
