Roger, Tim has spoken about the former issue quite a bit. Spurs really caught us out from restarts. They’re good at that. I’ll ask Scott about the latter but we were poor on set pieces despite being good at corners.

I’ve never heard anyone discuss it but one outstanding feature of Arsenal play relative to almost all other teams is the lack of intensity when the game is restarted - with a throw-in, a corner or a free kick. Arsenal players appear to see it as a neutral moment or even a disadvantage whereas most other teams we play employ is as a threat against us. Do you have access to the statistics on this as to the outcomes from our use of the play versus our opponents. Also despite our poor defensive record I see that we are much better organised in our shape and at corners so can you tell us the stats as to where the goals against us come from.
