Establishing a couple more patron perks and pausing payments in the meantime.

Hey all! 

Pardon things being quiet around here for a bit. There are a few things I've been working on in addition to finishing my most recent YCH auction that I would like to share soonish as well.

Having said that, (and to address the title of this post) I will be pausing further payments from my patrons for the remainder of 2019 so that I can take the time to get a couple of things done - namely Patreon exclusive commission examples created and also finally get my personal species ready enough to be revealed! 

I will address both of those topics individually to offer my more detailed thoughts as well as some transparency for those who might be interested ^^

Plans for a Patreon exclusive commission option in the future:

In addition to finishing up my most recent YCH that features Amyth and Dusk's female form, I'm wanting to get out a couple of simpler pinup examples!

I've decided I will use the image that was voted on last to be turned into Amyth as the main example for this and possibly having one of Relta as well for good measure (and also to just get another piece of her out there, heh).

As for how these commissions would take place - I'd make the opportunities for it available exclusively here on Patreon as an added perk for my $5+ supporters. My plan is for these commissions to be on the simpler side of things when it comes to rendering so that they can both be more affordable and not overly time consuming to make. This mainly meaning no detailed backgrounds and nothing too crazy when it comes shading and highlights (but still just as detailed as my normal work is otherwise).

Currently I'm thinking patrons who are interested will be chosen based on how long they have been pledged + how much they've supported. This will make it easy to decide the order as well as offer a nice thank you for the loyalty of those who have stuck around for the longest.

As for pricing, I'll have that fully decided once I'm done with the two examples. But I'd expect it to be around half of what my auctions tend to average.

I'd honestly love to have more loyalty based rewards as well at some point but I feel this is one way to show my appreciation of it to start with <3

The finalization of my dragon species (name pending) and making it available to others:

So speaking of Amyth and Relta, I'm wanting to also use of this time to create proper reference sheets for both of them and finish plotting out the remaining details of the draconic species I'm intending for them to represent! The plan is to also utilize these references to serve as the starting point for a ref template of my unique species. 

I look forward to making a handful of options/choices within the templates to start with and then expanding upon those possibilities as time goes on. There is a decent amount of sexual dimorphism between the male and female dragons of my species that will allow for some fun customization as well!

Speaking of these templates, I'm planning on them being made available at no additional cost for all $5+ patrons as an additional perk. So for any patrons who might be interested in trying to design their own character based on Amyth and Relta's species, doing so will be made even simpler and more convenient for you :3

Making my own species is something I've long desired to do and have thought about often. I really do want to just buckle down and make it happen at last and I feel taking the time to do so sooner rather than later would be a good idea. Once they are established I'd also love to get back into making character designs every so often for people to adopt as well!

But yeah! Those are some of my thoughts in regard to the two future patron rewards/benefits. Pardon if it ended up being too lengthy, haha. I hope that my expanding on my plans might be of interest to some of you at least!

Also, just to make it clear for those of you who are already patrons, you will be able to see the HD versions of the finished YCH with Amyth as well the pinup examples I'm working on for both my characters at no additional cost once they are complete.
