2022-06-01 11:54:22 +0000 UTCVery wild - the patent system won't let you patent "software or algorithms" but they will allow patents on "a method of doing business" which is probably how this issue is classified. This is precisely how the "Amazon Buy Now with One Click" shopping is handled...it devolves into ridiculous inconvenience to the end users in many cases...
