P.S. Peep the show notes for a link to the Patriot Club Spotify playlist for these episodes. It'll be updated with each ep.
You can also find a link to the sickest soundtrack AROUND. 🙃
We're back! For a few episodes that we promised Patron Alex Hill.

Listeners, Friends, Patrons, Saints,
It is that time of year again. The time that we send an unscheduled and non-telegraphed update message that no one asked for. A message that brings with it change, however minor it may be. This is that message, loved ones.
MGM's Patreon was waving goodbye; riding off into the sunset ; calling its spouse and telling them that they loved them. But, just before the credits began to roll, someone played that overused record scratch sample and things got interesting.
So, we decided that we'll be keeping the Patreon open and available to any and all who would like to contribute to keeping the show's legacy running and to also maintain a private RSS feed for Patriot Club episodes to be further maintained by the Discord members. The sky's the limit and the mods (Nick and Chad), as well as Warren, will be running the show from now on.
Dry your eyes, little ones. There will be no more tiers. All supporters will be just that "Supporters." No levels, no thetans, no steps, just your support and our affection. Everything else will remain online for any and all who care to peruse.
Questions? Ask away. Disclaimer: We've never made a change like this before, so it may leave people outside of the new "Supporter" tier orphaned, as all other tiers have now been deleted. If you don't see yourself set at this tier, please manually update yourself, as your continued contribution may automatically halt if not. IDK. Maybe? Who can say? Best of luck with your future endeavors.
We're still in a dream,
Snake Eaters.
...for being our biggest supporters and writers of recommendation. Like Dwight, we are all overwhelmed by the love you've shown over the years.
Now that the final mainline episode has greeted the world, we're here to officially say, we've been so happy to have you and we are prepared for your departure.
However, if you'd like to stick around for one final month while we transition into a Discord community, well who are we to stop you? (Be sure to mosey on over there if you haven't already - the fun will continue!) We'll keep the Patreon page live and we maaaaay have a couple of things to share with you.
Until then, dear Patrons; Listeners; Friends, we humbly thank you once more.
Be well, comrades
-MGM Crew

That's it.
The show is officially over, from an editing perspective. This was the last cut. Allow me to introduce you to the longest episode in MGM's history #208.
I hope it's a send off that you all will enjoy. It was everything I wanted it to be and more.
One quick note: if you're already using the Discord, great—if not, definitely go ahead and get yourself an account in there. The Patreon will be officially closing (though you'll retain access to your posts / content) on November 30th. All future Discord invites / access will be via a new invitation link that is hitting social and the RSS feed later today. Discord isn't going anywhere.
I won't be sharing this episode with you all early, so everyone will have to listen at the same time whenever it releases on Monday, November 22nd.
It's been an absolute pleasure having the chance to meet all of you and to be able to provide entertainment for you all for these past 6-ish years.
Just as much as we may have helped you all through tough times, you gave us purpose on days where we felt afloat. We can't thank you enough for your support all this time.
Be well,
Alessio
This is a very very special episode of the show, finale season or otherwise. We've collected the best moments of the entire life of the show and are presenting them to you here, this week, in a whole new way.
The celebration continues, as we count the days to the very last episode of the show. Come, dance with us before the sun comes up. We only have a little while left.
With love,
Alessio
"MGM:R - The Lost Episode" is meant to take place between "MGM:R #019 - Portable Ops Listener Responses" and "The End of Metal Gear Mondays is Nigh."
This is the proper final farewell for the MGM:R cast and crew. We hope that you enjoy the episode and get hyped for the upcoming "The End of Metal Gear Mondays - Part 3."
Best,
Alessio
Apologies for yet another episode coming just before (or right on) release day. These finale episodes are taking a bit more elbow grease than your usual edit and things have been pretty busy offline.
Either way, I hope you all enjoy the continued roundtables with representatives of every era of MGM. This week's is a little special in that we have a portion dedicated to community mods speaking about their time.
Parts 3 and 4 of the finale are also going to be REALLY great. We wrapped recording part 3 just a few days ago and I think you're really going to like it.
All the best, everyone, and thanks for all the support!
- Alessio
You guys are the best fans around and you deserve so much more.
Go off into the sunset! Go! Be free!
The time has come. The time is now. The time is nearly over.
--
Apologies for the 1:1 release alongside the main public feed. Patrons will be receiving Part 2 in the next few days and Part 3 before next Monday. Part 4, however, will not release early in an effort to allow everyone to experience the super secret special final interview at the same time.
Patrons (of all tiers), expect a very special and exclusive post to come across your Patreon feeds in the next few days. We wanted to send over a nice bonus just for you all.
Thanks for the years of support!
Much love,
Alessio
We've all got to go sometime.

It’s the hottest day of the summer. You can do nothing, you can do something, or you can… Do the Right Thing.
Nick and Warren are joined by Courtnei to talk about Spike Lee’s 1989 MASTERPIECE, Do the Right Thing. The three of them discuss themes from the movie, the message that Spike Lee was saying with his film, and what it means to each of us. It was a first watch for one of us, which makes for a great conversation.
Tune in and find out the answer to these questions:
Is $2 a ridiculous price for extra cheese, especially in 1989?
Why is Pino so angry?
What do we think of the set design, cinematography, and costumes?
Who’s relationship is creepier. Joi and Sal, or Joi and Mookie?
Did anyone brush their Jordans with a toothbrush to keep them looking fresh?
Did anyone else have a voice and flow like Chuck D?
Should Courtnei do a Fast and Furious Podcast?
Join the roundtable to discuss this film and share your thoughts in the Film Club channel.

Tori and Warren discuss a couple of their favorite movies and read 1-Star reviews from IMDB for those movies. Let us know your favorite movies and some of the 1-Star reviews in the movie club channel in the discord or on Patreon.
Some things to look forward to on the episode:
On a scale from one to ten, how mad does Warren get after reading a couple of reviews?
-What does the phrase “twist my pants” mean?
-What is a “gaybo”?
-Was Mila Jovovich a celebrity crush? Eva green? Daniel Craig?
-What was your first time on the internet? Was it to review a movie on IMDB?
*Warren apologizes in advance for the amount of cackling and weird laughs that he has done on mic in this episode and the number of times he says “fuck”*

For decades Bong Joon-ho has been making fantastic, interesting, and beautiful films. It feels that he has not gotten his time in the limelight until his recent Oscar win for Parasite in 2019.
Memories of Murder is Joon-ho’s second directorial feature film and shows that Joon-ho has been at the top of his game for some time now.
Chris and Warren discuss the film, its themes and meaning, as well as our first impressions as we both had not seen this film prior to Movie Club voting for this one.
Be sure to join us at the roundtable in the discord. There is a lot to discuss on this one.
Enjoy this overlooked classic.

Are you gonna bark all day little doggie, or are you gonna bite?
For June’s Movie Club Nomination, Nick and Warren discuss Reservoir Dogs. It is the club’s first Quentin Tarantino film which gives it some baggage, but the two stay on point to discuss the film, Quentin Tarantino and give some life lessons along the way.
· Does Warren quote Nice Guy Eddie like 20 times?
· How does Nick feel about Quentin Tarantino as a filmmaker?
· Will Warren spend way too much time talking about the music in the film?
· Will Nick talk about restroom hygiene?
All these answered and more in this episode. Join in on the discussion in the Movie Club Channel in Discord and join the roundtable slated for July 10th.
