What’s Coming to RKG in October 2021?

The nights are becoming darker, the leaves more brittle, which means we’ve finally hit October. Not sure what’s more scary – the fact it’s already October 2021 or all the spooky stuff we have lined up this month. Probably the former.

Of course, October culminates in Halloween and as always we’ll have another spooky special to close out the month. Unfortunately, we won’t be able to stream live this year as Gav is on Best Man duty down in Wales but don’t worry we’re filming a special spooky Let's Play in advance, and yes, there will be costumes. We’re going to host it as a public YouTube Premiere so everyone can still watch together and hang out in live chat during the show.

Krupa’s Halloween Film Club

31 Days. 31 horror films. Join me as I embark on watching 31 horror films across the month of October.

On Oct 1st, I’ll post a full list of the films, and I’ll create a new dedicated Discord channel where we’ll be able to chat about the films the day after watching them and probably watch a couple together, too. I won’t be streaming any films live this year, but it’d be fun to do something all month long for those who like to get into the season. Remember, RKG Producers can still watch my live watch-alongs of The Shining, Halloween and A Nightmare on Elm Street.

I’ve put together a pretty varied list of films, including some I’ve never watched, some I’ve not seen for ages, as well as some classics, too. Most are available on Netflix, Prime, or Shudder if you’re UK based, whereas a handful might have to be rented.

I’ve also enjoyed making artwork for this, as you can probably tell.

October sees our Retry: Chalice Dungeons series come to an end. For those who've enjoyed it week-by-week and for those who binged the lot straight away, you'll be excited to hear that we're currently heads down making the next Retry which will launch in November.

We'll share more details next month but for now here's a little sneaky still to wet your whistle. It's a good 'un.
