I need a straightedge, so I made three.

Have you seen the price of precision metrology equipment lately? Neither have I, I've been too busy rubbing these sticks together (And trying to animate the explanation of why).

Thanks for the early support you've all given me, and while I'm still deciding on whether or not early releases here on Patreon will be something I'll stick with in the future, I wanted to give you guys a treat.

Hope you're all getting a good break over the New Year period, I'm definitely looking forward to getting a couple of days' rest! Haha.

A bit off topic but how in the world did you get 72k subscribers in 5 months with only 5 videos?

I hate it here, but also, if I just stayed a little bit longer..... And thanks, I was really leaning into the 'bloke from down under' trope on this one! Haha

Congratulations, you've reached the realm of machining where nothing is truly rigid, straight, or "perfect" 😂 BTW, I dig the narration style.

There are plenty of excuses: It takes forever, can be pretty boring, at the end you've got trust issues with the concept of flatness -just to name a few!

Someone has been watching ToT! Well done mate! No excuse for me anymore, I need to make these too!
