Added 2023-11-20 07:23:35 +0000 UTCHave been getting by with a HSS bit for the fly cutter for ages, but enough was enough. Knocked up a quick and dirty carbide insert holder today, and by Jove, I'm blown away.
Plus now I can face these straight edges at 240mm/m, instead of 60. For you imperial folks out there, that's not so bad, and slow as balls, respectively.
