I don't know what to say. Here we are, dear readers, after six years, in excess of 2.5 million words, and one hell of journey for our Heather. This is is it! The final chapter of Katalepsis Book One. We made it. I almost can't believe it.

Thank you, all of you, for all your support, whether you've been here since the beginning or you just started reading this week! None of this would have been remotely possible without all of you, the audience and readers and patrons, and everything you have given to support my storytelling. You made this happen! Thank you.

I'm not going to bog this chapter post down by descending into reflections - not just yet, anyway! As I mentioned in the New Years' chapter post, I'm going to write up something over the next week or so - reflections on Book One, some of my thoughts on how far I've come, my plans for the brief break, and my plans for the start of Book Two and the rest of the year. I'm not sure when I'll post it, probably next weekend, but maybe the weekend after? If I wait two weeks, all the public readers can be caught up too, so I'm not 100% sure when. I'm also thinking of doing a public Q&A post for Katalepsis questions, which was suggested by some readers and patrons; I'll probably do that right after I do the big upcoming post about plans, I haven't really figured out how to do it just yet, but I think it would be fun.

Anyway! There we go. The final chapter, at least until the opening of Book Two, which will probably be happening in ... March, I think! More details soon!
