I'm still fiddling with how big I want the 1st panel to BE... and I'm still not perfectly happy with her butt/lean? But It's small fish at this point. I'm excited to move this into inks; where I think it'll really find itself.
I figured I might draw the WHOLE of the 4th panel; as I was drawing it reminded me of this picture; and I thought it would be a fun call back/show how far I've come sort of thing.

OH! I know what else I can share! I've added in an experiment that I spent Tuesday evening on; using a renderer (D5 Renderer) on some Sketchup files I had, followed by some Photoshop plugins to see if I could generate a way to do my backgrounds more quickly... I think it looks GOOD, but... WAY too good, and distractingly artificial. When I tried loading some of the environments I've built for reference I also very quickly realized that I'd need to find new materials and make a lot of fixes for all the weirdness I'd left in; stuff that never mattered if I was just drawing over the screenshots, but super matters if you want to use a renderer. I think it was a fun experiment, and I'm sharing it if you want to do it yourself!
I'll drive into replies tomorrow! I'm zapped tonight.

2024-11-18 13:38:08 +0000 UTCI think it's only more obvs to us since we know it's already there, but I think to a fresh reader it'll be a fun surprise to go backwards in the comic and be able to notice it's been there this whole time, even before the reveal in comic. It's a great little touch.
