Ties That Bind - Page 11 Finished!

Really pushed myself this week to get this out to you guys before the end of the month! The thing is I'm off for a three-day wood-cabin weekend tomorrow, and probably won't be drawing all that much while I'm there. I hated the idea that any of you here for just the month wouldn't get the final page, so have been really burning the midnight oil on this =D

This page went through quiiite a bit of reworking in the pencil phase! I struggled a bit to find a good 1st panel that wasn't too much of a copy of the previous page's 'Owen Stare Down'. I tried a feral-looking abstract idea (cool but out of place), I tried a tight-profile idea (too... eh), and then, settled on just a direct-looking into the light look (inspired a bit by that wild feral look). I think it really worked out: it helps the dialogue have it's moment, and really sets up the next panel; Owen doing a sort-of-show-and-tell of his prize.

I allllso tried filling out the page with some sound effects - which I might share with the higher tiers in a sec. I really liked the idea of Judy being more in-the-scene with her vocals. But ultimately it was just cluttering the page. Letting the camera sit on just the faces and dialogue makes this page strongest I think.

I hope you all like it friends! I'll crack into page 12 next week! =D I'm excited; it's got a KISS in it - the ultimate for a poor/lucky cuckold to see!

Because of the 3-day weekend thing, I'll probably not be replying here for a short while; but I'll dive in when I get a chance next week! I'll prrrrobably do most of the promotion then too: I don't really want to ask people to sign up a few days before the end of the month - that wouldn't be fair to anyone.
