Chapter 6 - Ties That Bind (Script 99% - SPOILERS)

I realize I totally forgot to share the current 99% script with you all! Apologies!

Below the break is a TON of spoilers for this chapter! But if you're curious about where this is all going, or want to see the script for the next few pages this is where you can read it!

Is it perfect? No.

Will I make more changes? Probably (I can't help itttt).

Am I happy with it this time? Yeah. I think I am. It's intense, it's kinder, and I think it's hot. I hope you do too.

Context for the rework:

Like 3(4?) months ago I sat down to trim down the fat on my previous script. I also wanted to inject more moments where Nick could pull the cord on everything. I felt like I'd written him into a trap last time, and I really wanted the play talk to hit hard, but not feel inescapable. Owen's not fucking around, but if Nick says it's too much I wanted it to be crystal clear that he can say stop.

During the rework, I also tried my hand at writing a version where Judy was AWAKE for the whole escalation chat. But ultimately putting another voice in the mix thinned out Owen and Nicks, and it almost felt like it removed some of Nick's agency. With Judy AFK - we can see Nick really open up and ask for these things of his own volition. Maybe I'll share that version some time too? Though it would need to be cleaned up a tad bit more.

We see an open door and a dark room. This is Owen's apartment (jointly shared with another who isn't here this night)
