Chapter 5 - Knot on Top Layout
Added 2020-10-24 22:10:25 +0000 UTCYou guys have been ultra patient, thank you! Work has me working mad hours at a breakneck speed without much in the way of downtime, while we crunch. So it's been a SLOW graft. But I think I've finally hit a good spot with the layouts for the next chapter.

And there you have it! These are my layouts!
The layout stage to me is setting things up, finding references, poses, and things I like, then using all of that to design the page with good text placements and panels. It's all subject to change as I start on the pencils, so if anyone thinks a panel or two looks out of place, lemmie know - there's already a few I want to swap out or work on (the climax on page 11 has been redone a FEW times, but I might try at it again!)
Keeping my fingers crossed that next week should be easing up as we finish a milestone at work. As soon as that happens I can exhale and sit down to do the pencils!
I'm thinking, going forward that I'll do these pages in 4-page-batches. That way you don't all have to wait an eon for some finished goods!

I want to avoid saying EXACTLY how big each of them is, as I think my art is gonna flip and flop, but I did do a side-by-side in the last chapter (about halfway thru): https://www.patreon.com/posts/40966636 https://www.furaffinity.net/view/38594382/ In my head, Nick is of average fox size and Judy's max-comfort-level for size. Owen is bigger than that by inches, both length, and girth, and will be a whole other thing for her to handle. I'd say Owen is 'large' for a fox.
