KOKMIK SERIES #23

It's been almost five years, and we've always been together for every occasion – Christmas, New Year, weddings, or birthdays. I got used to always having him around, so I felt sad when he said he couldn't join me at my parents' house. Before, his family wasn't close-knit, and he and his siblings weren't close, so I always invited him to spend Christmas and New Year with us. I know his family is trying to become closer, especially now that his siblings are getting older and having children. So, I think it's okay to give him a chance to be with them.

Vin's experiences and mine are somewhat similar. My siblings and I are super close, but our parents have been working abroad. Since childhood, we never had a memory of a complete family on any occasion. This year, in 2023, is different because my parents returned to the Philippines together, so they got to celebrate Christmas and New Year with us. This is the first time we'll be with them. So, I thought it was okay for us, as a couple, to have separate celebrations for now. After all, that's the essence of Christmas – to enjoy it with your loved ones. In the next few years, we probably won't need to be apart because I'm sure we'll have our own family by then (with our kids). HAHAHAHHAHA, but of course, that's a long way off. That's it.

The year 2023 will end, so our first season is ending too! But no worries, I am not ending my KOKMIK SERIES Comic. I will continue the next season, episode 1 next year, probably the first week of January. You know this comic is all about me and Vin living together, so my comics will not end easily. I still want to share my stories. HAHAHAH Next week is going to be busy, but I will try my best to be still active on my social media. Thank you so much for reading this till the end.
