I thought I heard Ange say „Rika“ (with an „a“) twice when referring to the girl that was the star plasma vessel that Tengen-Sama failed to assimilate 12 yrs ago (sorry if I heard wrong, getting old..).
Rika is the spirit connected to Yuta though, the star plasma vessel‘s name was Riko (Amanai).
I believe you meant the right person, just thought to clear up the names anyway.
Other than that a few screenshots of that board should be enough, plus the rules from last ep. Or just continue watching and hope they repeat the explanations when suitable..

Yeah, the culling game was a LOT to take in. I read it in the manga, so it was a bit easier cuz I could take my time reading. But it was still a hell of a lot of information being thrown at you all at once. I really enjoy JJK, but it suffers from the exposition episodes. Honestly, they could've stretched this episode into two and it still would've been tough to follow.

The "other side" is generally "death", but more broadly is where youkai, or in JJK's world, curses, reside. If you've ever seen Noragami, it's the Far Shore, whereas the living world of humans is the Near Shore. The underworld, purgatory, the shadow realm, these are all different names for essentially the same idea.
Sorcerers have a foot in the other side when they "see" curses, and essentially the deeper you are in the other side the less human you are. Tengen, for example, was explained as more human, but after losing Riko and being forced to evolve became more curse, and Kenjaku is trying to do the same to humans. Like more easily assimilates with like, so through the Culling Game Kenjaku is trying to stir a similar evolution to move humans closer to the Curse side in preparation for assimilating with Tengen.
That's my reading of it, anyway.

Nah for weekly releases, we give early access of the full reaction to all tiers because as soon as the edited reaction is finished, it goes straight onto youtube. At least this way, evryone gets at least a few hours of early access on patreon

YUPP!! its understandable tho. Toji and the inverted spear of heaven was the first time anyone even came close to touching gojo. Toji took it to another level and nearly killed him
which ended up pushing gojo to another level and at his current strength getting rid of anything that can counter his technique just means hes even more untouchable.

It might be complecated, but if you cant rap your head around it, enjoy it for what it is, because it gets way way way better. This arc will not dissapoint you.

The Inverted Spear of Heaven was the weapon that Toji was using facing Gojo and the black ropes was the weapon that Miguel was using also against Gojo in JJK-0. Gojo destroyed them both prior to the main storyline. I always thought that he probably destroyed the Spear because Toji lowkey traumatised him.

I really liked this episode, even though it’s a lot, it’s not delivered too fast, and also not filled with things that were unimportant. If you know what’s going on up until now, most of it was pretty easy to follow. Peak exposition 😂

I think you've missed it, but the Inverted Spear of Heaven is what Toji used back during the Hidden Inventory arc to bypass Gojo's infinity and kill him. And Black Rope was a tool that Miguel used against Gojo in JJK: Zero movie. But in this episode Tengen mentioned that both the spear and black rope are destroyed so the only option for them to free Gojo from prison realm is "Angel" Hana

I’ll try to explain what I understand so far and what I remember from the manga when I read it a few years ago…
Basically, Kenjaku’s main goal is to make the people of Tokyo assimilate with Tengen and, by doing that, seek a more evolved being — kind of like an evolution of the current jujutsu system.
As a prerequisite for this ritual, he created the Culling Game to make sorcerers fight each other and use all the cursed energy released in the game to push humanity across a barrier that will take them to the “other side” (it’s not very clear what this “other side” actually is). That way, humanity would be ready to be assimilated with Tengen.
Since Tengen didn’t assimilate the girl who was supposed to be the vessel during Gojo’s past arc, he ended up evolving into a being closer to a cursed spirit. Because of that, Kenjaku can absorb Tengen, since he’s in Geto’s body, which has the ability to absorb curses. That’s why Yuki and Choso stay behind to protect Tengen.
Meanwhile, the others go into the Culling Game with two goals: first, to earn enough points to create a new rule (which is allowed in the game) that can remove Megumi’s sister from the game, since she was forced to participate somehow. The second goal is to find Angel and free Gojo.

Hakari, the third year was mentioned by gojo last ep and in season one, lol jjk expects viewers to remember every passing comment 😭.
And since kenjaku is yuji's mom and yuji "coincidentally" happens to be sukuna's vessel and both kenny and sukuna being from the same era, gotta think they are both connected somehow.
