I've noticed lately that a small number of people exploit patreon by unsubbing just before the time the service charges patrons and resubscribing couple of days after.

First things first, I will not be doing anything about it. Just yet. I have made it free to support and only charge at month's end for s imple reason: to let the potential new sub see what I offer and decide themselves if they want to support me or not. Entry fee will be a deterrent to this kind of thing, so it's free to come and go.

But people who cheat this system by unsubbing before the pay and resubbing after are somewhat ruining this whole prospect. It should be rather simple.

If you don't want or can't support me - there is nothing forcing you to do so. I completely understand. If you still like my stuff and don't want or can't support me - I am still releasing most of my stuff to the public upon project's completion, you can just wait to have it.

But if you like my stuff, don't want to support me AND want my stuff early - then you're trying to have your cake and eat it too while being coy jerks about it.

I can clearly see who's doing it by the way. Это достаточно очевидно.

I will not be changing any of my policies to determent of new people, but if I will be noticing this behavior continuing - I will just ban the offenders.

Sorry for venting and allow me to heartily thank all of my supporters yet again. It is just unfair that some asshats are getting perks you get for free. Best day to anyone who made it this far.
