I know this one seems like it's nothing special sometimes, and that it pales in comparison to the main series, but I have to say, as someone who read both of them all the way to the end weekly/bi-weekly: Vigilantes became one of my absolute favorite manga of all time...eventually. It's consistently good, but it does take a bit to get to the nitty-gritty. But HOPEFULLY the anime continues to be as good as it is, and continues all the way through the end, because it is relatively short, it provides some insight into the main series, and Koichi becomes the single COOLEST character in the entire verse. Just stick with it, please!
